In October 2015 UNFPA jointly with UNESCO and WHO brought together about 50 global experts to Wilson Center in Washington DC: practitioners, youth leaders, advocates and experts from national institutions, civil society organizations (CSOs) and UN agencies to take stock of the current global context and exchange knowledge and experience towards acquiring new lenses for effective advocacy on CSE; to share experiences on what has worked, and strategize around working within a rapidly shifting policy environment.

Emerging from the CSE Advocacy Meeting, young participants voiced their enthusiasm for a safe online communication platform to give shape to what was started at the meeting, giving continuity to this coalition through a platform for its continued collaboration and work. The Hub should be developed and managed by young activists in partnership with international civil society organizations, global, regional and national experts and stakeholders, and it will be for all CSE advocates to access (not only youth activists).

During the International AIDS Conference 2016 in Durban, a pilot of this CSE Advocacy platform will be tested for the first time with a group of 24 CSE advocates at the IPPF/UNFPA Networking Zone in the Global Village. If you are interested to be part of this first group of CSE advocates who will log into the platform, please provide us the following information about you.
